Ducks, Geese and Swans (Anatidae) - A Birding Adventure

There are 146 species in the family Anatidae of which 26 can be found in Kenya.  They are largely herbivorous eating mainly water plants but some are known to eat small fish and molluscs. Members of this family are monogamous, the same couples breeding year after year. Swimming birds are difficult to photograph because they either dive or swim away from you.
